Moving along

I have found that one of the things that most frustrates me is when I feel that I am making no progress. In cleaning that room, doing the laundry, paying bills, furthering my life....if I can't see the progress than it feels like no progress.

Today I got Rev Run daily word and it speaks of this:
"Take time to slow down and smell the roses! Life satisfaction is more likely for those with a steady stream of minor accomplishments than for those who express interest only in major accomplishments. Slooow down :-) "

But now I feel this new surge of movement. It feels incredible and I want to harness this feeling. I feel empowered with getting healthy. I am making progress in getting my home where I want it. I have a grasp on my pictures and scrapbook room. I am maintaining new and old friendships. And to top it off, I finally have something "to do" towards Dario's disappearance.

The Hoboken Police Dept called me last Friday and they will be taking a DNA swab from Mom and me to try to find a match in the Missing Person's database. There is a chance that even if he is deceased his DNA may not be in the system but it just feels like we are doing something proactive to help find him. Instead of just being reactive to life.

I think that is a word that could define/describe me -> proactive. :)

I know how excited you were when you got the call. Just knowing the case is still being persued is a good thing. I pray you guys find the closure you need. As far as your current project of "harnessing" the forward motion in your life...I BELIEVE IN YOU!!! GO FOR THE GUSTO!
